“If I got a good beat, why try to fix it, so let’s remix it” this is the first line from the original track called Good Beat by Bounce Camp, and ironically, it has been remixed by LA duo Breakdown
The LA producers have been making quite the name for themselves since their inception in late 2007. Their productions have been spun by DJs like Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, Micky Slim, and Z-Trip to a name a few. And with tons of collaborations with The Sounds, Deadmau5, Will Bailey, Rico Tubbs to name a few, they are sure to make some noise in ’10.
The remix appropriately titled “New Beat” takes the sound of the original, but makes it bigger. Breakdown keeps the funky guitars of the original and adds a much louder/fuller beat while using and chopping the vocals up to add variation. One of the great things about this track is that the production work of the original and the remix play off the lyrics, and this adds the right amount of fun to the track to gain that valuable replay value.
enjoY!
