LA based group Nightwaves have been making some huge moves lately. After their successful show at SXSW, and their invention of the genre of music known to many as “dreamwave,” They have expanded to a four piece band ready to take on the world at large.
The Group has followed up with their very successful mixtape Series (Dreamwave Hour) by adding Volume 2. The best part about this mix is that it has unreleased, never heard before remixes from Anoraak and Vega, who remixed NightWaves (She’s Electric) a while back. There’s also a new track from Binary artist Fabian, who ends the mixtape with a huge song called Heatwave.
The mixtape is really good. Its the perfect listening music for these summer nights. The tracks are smooth and creamy and will make you feel like your floating through the air, no doubt about that.
Nightwaves also has a new edit of their track Invincible for you to check out. Once again Invincible is a beautiful, ambient, chilled out track that your ears wont want to stop hearing.
Nightwaves will be playing a show this Friday (6/19) at The Echoplex out in LA with fellow newcomers Thieves Like Us and Esser. IF your out there go check them out
