Once again, I’ve had a leave of absence here at Boom Boom – sincere apologies for the silence. I’m happy that Dave, Valerie and crew have kept everyone afloat with the good vibes. Not sure if I’ve tagged Above & Beyond on this blog before, but if I haven’t, there will probably be more to come. Made up of producers/DJs Jonathan “Jono” Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki, Above & Beyond make music that takes you exactly there – above and beyond. Very progressive and very melodic at the same time. On occasion, they will be featured with vocalist Justine Suissa, and this extended group is known as Oceanlab.
Above & Beyond usually have a weekly radio show on Digitally Imported on the trance channel, Fridays 3-5pm EST, called Trance Around The World. Watch out for their record label, Anjunabeats.
