After getting such positive feedback from the collab between Don Diablo and viva City – Audio Endlessy, I’ve decided to share, with you, some fresh new remixes from Don Diablo himself.
The first Remix I have is a song by Tami Chynn. Tami Chynn is a Jamaican singer, who’s gearing up for a big release of her album ‘Prima Donna’ through Akon’s Konvict Muzik in 2009.
This remix if the song song, Frozen, is hot. I recommend you pick this one up and blast it from your boombox (or ipod if your not so lucky to have one). The song itself is very catchy… I mean very catchy. I’ve been listening to it on repeat since i got to work (about 20 mins now). The bassline is so deep and filtered that you feel it, and then all of sudden it gets in your face and you cant help but to move your body to the sound. On top of that Ms. Chynn’s vocals compliment the sound so well. Don Diablo has delivered a remix for Frozen that is guaranteed to make underground club walls bleed with satisfaction… without a doubt. The 2nd Remix i got is song from Sydney based underground outfit Kaseo. (www.myspace.com/kaseoweb) Their recently released mega bomb ‘Kill the Radio’, has gotten a proper makeover for the the dancefloor.
I found a popular Australian online magazine InTheMix.com.au who reviewed the single and they had this to say on the Don Diablo remix: “The first track features the Don Diablo remix, which begins its life with a loud, messy combination of distortions, hats, smashes and downright grunge, which we all know usually has a promising result.
