]]> Some fresh new tunes for your ears come from artist/songwriter, Rome Alexander. He has teamed up with his brother, EDM producer/dj Rederic, to create “L.Y.G”, a modern love song made for the summer.

The upbeat, pop sounds Alexander has created makes it the perfect tune to put on when you need to get some work done. What I am really loving is how he used the chopped up vocal sample — it really lays the foundation for the rest of the track. When you take this foundation and add the beautiful instrumentations and Rederic’s classic R&b tone, it’s pretty hard not to listen.

Their goal is to keep you hooked by producing organic & unique music that incorporates awesome melodies, appealing lyrics and waves of emotions that is all solidified by hardy electronic beats, creatives synths, sound design and ambience.

We had a moment to check out their latest single called “Keep You Safe” which features artist Eli Mann. The track has great flow and provides excellent dance materials. Sort of makes me want to get up and have a party in my office. Really loving those twinkly synths they have incorporated into the track.

]]> Fresh music for your Tuesday comes from Rio singer/songwriter, Laura Rizzotto. Singing since the age of 9, she was signed to Universal Music Brazil when she was only 15 years old. Later on, she took a break from her label to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee.

Fast forward to today and she is gearing up to release a new EP called Ruby. We had a chance to check out the first track from that EP called “The High” and we instantly wanted to get up and dance.

When you hear ‘The High” you can’t help but think of some mid 90’s J-Lo stuff going on. You can hear she is mixing in her roots with the latin-esque laidback drums along with beautiful vocal melodies. This track is no doubt made for the after hours. Picture yourself on a beach, waiting for the sunrise to come up with your dance partner, thats the feeling you get from “The High.”

]]> NYC duo, The Felix, burst onto the scene last year with their debut single, “Coming Back” and have not not stopped. Composed of lifelong friends Jeffrey James and Blake Skipper, the two decided to make it their mission to give people something that they can relate to, a musical experience that combines influences of synth pop, indie rock and r&b.

We got to take a listen to the new single, “Still Holding and we were big fans. The Robyn-esq vibe reminds me of a nostalgic 80’s credits song but with some fresh 2017 updates. The arpeggiated bass lines with those dreamy, luscious synth chords really helps ground the track and provides steady aural pleasure form start to end. The other thing I was digging was storytelling the duo has going on in the track, it may be a little sappy, but it’s a good a type of sappy.

Putting smoking trees with dogs aside, there is something very interesting with Capricanno style, it’s very laid back and easy going surrounded by some solid beats and melodies. Really loving the integration of hip/hop and electronic styles. They album’s tracks are dope, catchy, and just enough off the beaten path that you will continue to listen, not to mention that his track names are awesome.

]]> Today we have the upcoming artist, Zoie. This Swedish pop artist started here musical journey in 2015 when she released her first single, “Never Tried To Keep Me.” Now she is soon going to release her new single called “Seduce Me.”

According to Zoie, the song is a perfect story about seduction. Since the release of her last single, “Sense Of Insane,” time has passed and Zoie has told us that her private life has changed completely since then. The new single builds on an exciting story about confusion and love. Zoie also tells us that another person has become important to her and her music and has drastically shaped her new sound.

One thing that is for sure is that Zoie is leaving her heart breaking stories behind and pushing towards a new direction with “Seduce Me.”

]]> New music for your Tuesday comes from NYC via Ukraine artist, Kaiya. Since the age of 4 she knew she wanted be a singer. Along the way she went to art school and continued to study classical dance. However, it would ultimately be her modeling career that took her from Tokyo to London and finally NYC where she met ÅMBE – singer, songwriter and producer, and they immediately clicked and started to produce music. This led to her first single “Games” which is a lovely piece of indie pop that is pretty easy on the ears.

When you first hear Kaiya you are hit with a sweet, delicate, indie pop song that puts a spell on you. What I was loving about the song was her voice, it is really angelic and soothing. When you add luscious synths and ambients vibes you truly have a track that is perfect to get your short week going

One thing I noticed about this track and some other ones are his awesome melodies. They carry such emotion to them bringing you up and and down with fantastical music expressions and a sound selection to support that emotion. When you add that on top of his larger than live beats/drums, you have the perfect song to extend those upcoming summer nights.

]]> American New comer and DJ/Remixer/producer/keyboardist/percussionist/singer, Chance, has only three releases under belt and his latest one, “Juke Juke, Box Jam,” in which he teamed up with his fellow producer/artist, synthesized this uniquely produced track.

The creative just must have been flowing at that session because the track is so different than the usual, that you can help but take notice. The electro drums and Stevie Wonder funky clavichord provides the base for which DJ cMx lays down his rhymes. This record is definitely something to check out.

]]> Next ups is a new music from Independent producer, Last Ronin. With a hunger for the EDM spotlight, this producer is upping his production skills on his new EP titled Meditate, a sonic journey through space and time with some help from dubstep.

What I’m liking about this EP is the ride it takes you on. I found it to be the perfect working music. Never too fast, nor too slow, just the right amount to keep you on task and on point. The synth work on the EP is exceptional. Beautiful electronic melodies grace each track and really help define the song and give it structure, mixed in with great meticulous beat production, these dubstep tunes can please many different EDM palates.

I do have to say I was loving the tracks that had vocal guests on them a little more than the instrumentals. The tracks that did have vocals took his electronic production technique on an awesome variation.

]]> New tune comes from LA artist, Dario Black. This Colombian-Venezuelan singer/songwriter has already released music in Spanish and English and is currently working on his new EP Temporary Love. We had a chance to check out the single from the EP called “Don’t Let Go” and it immediately gave us a energetic boost.

The song, rooted in pop, electronica while being anchored by Latin grooves, screams the club. A solid dance beat with some latin flavor, Dario crafts melodies and hooks that stick with you after the music stops.

He sent us over his latest jam to check out called “Joyogistic” and the best way to describe it is like physical journey that must be conquered. It starts off by building you up, getting you ready for the journey, then bam, you take off not stopping until your done. It was almost like I was inside a video game trying to make it to the next level. After listening to the track a few times I definitely understand what G.H Hat is trying to do.

]]> Got some fresh new tunes for you to start the Week. Let me introduce Vegas’ Shane the Crane, a tip hop project surrounded by mystery. Although his identity is still unknown, he has made some inroad in the industry after he released his remix of “Heathens” by Twenty One Pilots.

I had a chance to check out his latest album, STC, and I loved it. At first, I was not sure what I was gonna get with it, but after listening to a few tracks, I was digging it. On this 9 track album, you have some creative beat making that is completely different from anything i have heard of recently. Splicing together tons of random samples, with steady, pop-friendly hip hop drums creates a truly unique listening experience. One thing I can say for sure is that Shane the Crane is the master of originality.

]]> Today’s tunes comes from Cali socially conscious band, Astronauts of Antiquity (AOA). This electro-pop tiro have this brand new single out called “Future Back” and it is the second track from their forthcoming EP, The Maze.

For this single, the band teamed up with TribeSound Productions, a Philadelphia based production company to produce this veiled millennial social commentary love story staring every EDM fans thing…robots. Sonic wizard and producer, Ivica begins “Future Back” with a Daft Punk influenced vocal effect that sets a glitchy and experimental upbeat tone to the track. Mix lead singer India’s lush vocal melodies over musician B. Rhyan’s dreamy and funky guitar riffs and you have a perfect blend of electronic and organic elements (or as AOA calls it, Future Funk) intertwined with social commentary intended to raise awareness to the many social concerns of the world — definitely a must listen for any electronic music fan

]]> Sometimes you feel like you have to just escape it all and go into your own Zen world. Now for me that involves some tunes that bring me to an ethereal realm — and I think I have found the perfect vehicle to take me there – Ketil Lien aka Wim and his dreamy electronica music.

This producer, has been experimenting with electronic music for a very long time in his career and has released many albums, singles, tunes along the way. His latest one, called Exosphere, is not different. 4×4 drum beats lay the foundation for airy and large synths that have so much depth to them that you can’t help but feel like you are floating down an electronic sonic highway. If you want to get lost in your mind and just be in the moment – listen to Wim
