Canadian born singer, Lights, is back with a brand new single entitled ‘Toes’. This comes off her new album, Siberia, which is due to be released on October 4th, 2011. Still keeping with her electronic melodic sound, this will surely not disappoint any real Lights fan. Get the single on iTunes on August 16th!

Ultraviolet Sound are actually good friends of mine. I knew it was only a matter of time before they landed a record deal and were able to show the world how talented they actually are. New band for you guys to check out. They are from London and go by the name of Bird of Prey. I came across them when their front man, Tim Steer, sent me an email in regards to a track I needed vocals for. He also included a link to his band’s EP– Im glad he did, I loved it.

Great songwriting/melodies, huge choruses and a good use of percussions/electronics lent to an excellent EP. If you like The Killers, than you will defintiely 100% will like Bird of Prey. Check out their tune “7 Day Weekend” below and make sure to check out the rest of the EP from their Bandcamp Page
