Dark, mysterious music is needed sometimes as a break from the happy, upbeat music that is all around us today. It lets you explore the other side of your mind that is often ignored. That doesn’t mean that I enjoy all things dark, but when you connect to a piece of music for whatever reason, regardless of the sound, there is nothing else–That was the feeling I got when I listened to Dj Hell‘s new track “U Can Dance”

“U Can Dance” is an interpretation of an unreleased Bryan Ferry (of Roxy Music Fame) song that melds two distinct personalities. It’s dark, but at the same time can keep you moving, and with Ferry providing his unique vocals you have a record that sounds as if the voice and music were made for each other.

The track will be released on Jan. 28th with remixes from Carl Craig, DFA mainstay Tim Goldsworthy and Simian Mobile Disco. In the meantime check out the music video below.
