Nocando: LA’s Underground Emcee

Nocando, a seasoned member of the underground hip hop community, brings fresh rhymes every week at the world-renowned club night Low End Theory where he is the resident host. He won the MC Battle at the 2007 Scribble Jam, the largest hip hop festival in the nation. His voice is very laid back and his rhymes are unpredictable, funny and lean towards social commentary.

Nocando is set to drop his debut album, Jimmy the Lock, on Alpha Pup Records January 29. The album boasts beats from some of the top artist of the LA underground including Nosaj Thing, Nobody, Daedelus, Thavius Beck, Free the Robots, and many more.

Check out his first single, “Hurry Up and Wait”, (produced by Nobody) a gritty, but insanely catchy track
