The Ropes – Love Is A Chain Store EP

Filed Under: Indie, Rock & Roll

theropes

The last time we heard from NYC duo The Ropes they had released their single “Be My Gun.” Since then they have toured extensively as well as work on their new EP, Love Is A Chain Store.

The EP, due to be released on a “pay what u want model” on 12/15, then physically on Jan 12, will bring with it 3 new tracks produced with the help of Nic Hard. On the latest EP the duo expands upon the bands’ previous musings on isolation, individualism, and anti-romance with lead singer Sharon Shy leading the way with her intimate, euphoric voice and multi-instrumentalist Toppy providing the simple, but essential soundtrack.

enjoY!
