So, when i had gone home-home this weekend, my dad tells me that he found something that he thinks I should have.  It turns out it was the ticket stub to my very first show– The Smashing Pumpkins w/ garbage.

I was quite ecstatic to have gotten this ticket because I thought it was lost with time. The ticket has maintained its health due to the fact that I covered the whole front of it with scotch tape (don’t know why). As i jogged my memory I remember that the date on the ticket was not the day I saw the show. Tthe SP touring keyboardist, Jonathan Melvoin died of a heroin overdoes the day before of the original show, and thus forcing the SP to re-schedule that leg of the tour. I eventually saw them in September in all their glory. I was 12 years old and it was the greatest time of my life.
