Sticking with the latest genre mashing of dancehall/electronic/dub, Talen bring an awesome dance hall vibe that borders more on the electronic side, but gives it enough reaggaeton to get you Groovin’. Based in Switzerland, Talen, is 2 DJ’s and 2 Producers (DJ Bux + DJ Aunt One + Upper Noise + Bobphonic) who have just released their debut EP, Kingston Book.

Kingston Book features dancehall heroes Sizzla and Cutty Ranks taking vocal duties as well as remixes by Stereotyp and Markus Kienzl. The first single from the EP is ” “The Vibes – A Sizzla Tale” and has this reggaeton beat, that slowly picks up to a more electronic type beat. Sort of reminds me of Major Lazer, but a little more popish. Sizzla’s voice is gritty and very unique which seems to compliment the beat very well– a great collaboration track indeed
