I’ve found that I’m pretty unsatisfied with a lot of the music streaming programs out there. Besides Hypem, it’s really hard to find songs that are similar to the ones you already like and in turn discover new artists. Pandora, last.fm Even with hypem, it can be tricky sometimes, with a lot of the same artists and songs being posted day by day, navigating the song catalog can become boring.

That was until Grooveshark came along. Don’t get me wrong I was skeptical at first. I didn’t think they would have songs from the artists I listen to. Andy Caldwell, The Twelves? Nah they couldn’t have them. Oh but yes they did. And remixes too! That was GrooveShark’s first step in knocking down my skepticism. Step two, their play-lists and song selection. This blows Pandora outa the water! I had over 5 hours of straight listening pleasure with GrooveShark. Just to give you one example of the awesomeness that can be discovered with Grooveshark, check out the Jupiter Remix of Salt Air.
