Troublemaker is bringing us to the dark side of the moon with his latest dubstep/hip hop remix of “Geek to the Beat” by Cali duo Zion I.
The original beat by Amplive (one half of Zion I) is raw and uses the 808 like it is its job, but not Troublemaker’s version. His is dark and deep bringing enough complexity to the beat to keep it interesting while at the same time leaving ample room for Zumbi (other half of Zion 1) to do his thing on the mic. As an extra treat to the remix, Troublemaker has enlisted the services of LA town drunk The Deacon, from The 87 Stick Up Kids, to do some verses.
