New Music from Hybris – Pure Love x 2

Hybris, an up and coming record label from Sweeden, were kind enough to send us some new music from a few of their artists.

First up we have a track from Montt Mardié (David Pagmar) called “Dancing Shoes”. They describe it as a springtime killer, and I couldn’t agree more. The track has a happy, soft funky/soul feeling that gets under your skin. More toward the indie sound, it’s very sweet with a killer hook and trumpet line. David’s soft vocals really work well with the song. I highly recommend you check out his other stuff on his myspace.

Next we have a track from The Sweptaways with Nina Ramsby called “Sign Your Name”, with an afro-jazzy beat this track is very pretty. Nina’s voice is so smooth and relaxing that when she sings over the Sweptaways bongo driven and bass beat, you cant help but to take notice of this beautifully composed track — go Sweeds!

Montt Mardie album will be out on April 8th and you can pre-order it from here.

The Sweptaways album will be out on April 15th and you can pre-order i from here.

Enjoy!
