So heard about this band from my girlfriend’s best friend. They go by the name Bossasaurus, and they are definitely bringing their own style to the scene of electronic music.
Hailing from Oakland, Their music encompasses a lot of different genres and sounds. They use a ton of Analog synthesizers, effects, unique instruments and self-collected micro-samples to meld their sound. And let me tell you it, makes for good listening.
They are new to the game, but I’m sure will gain some massive ground with their originality. They are currently working on an album that is being mixed by Mike Cresswell (Blackalicious, Lyrics Born,Third Eye Blind, etc.) and features collaborations from some of indie hip-hop’s most revered artists.
So, now your probably wondering what samples I have from them to share with you.
Well, I have a 16 minute Dino Riders Mega Mix of original material/remixes as well as a selected track from the mix that i thought is a good example of what they can, and will do.
